The Programme

This role would be involved in creating designs and layouts that are engaging and reflect the targeted positioning of the DFS brands within the digital and video worlds to support our ROW & PRC channels.

This person reports directly into the Manager, Digital & Ecommerce Marketing Creative within the Digital Marketing team. 

What You Will Do

  • Support designers and managers in developing digital visual content across a variety of digital and social on the following key touchpoints - DFS.com, EDM, Social Media, Paid Media.
  • Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges.
  • Support on wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team, divisions marketing and within the organization and deliver excellent layouts in terms of quality and performance - Design digital marketing layouts such as campaign, landing pages, EDM, promotional banners etc. Format videos and create simple animations for animated media banners & social media.
  • Create and craft engaging video content for multi-platform use and distribution, including online and social media channels (DFS.com, Social Media).
  • Responsible for retouching, color correcting and optimization of images for all online and material produced.
  • Be aware of digital trends and have the ability to translate them into innovative digital creative.
  • Support project management on different projects with production specifics that are important to the look & feel. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Enthusiastic, highly creative with the ability to create engaging designs that resonate with the luxury world traveler.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your abilities in concepting and designing web sites and/or web applications.
  • Understand digital platform layouts on UI/UX design, wire framing, GUI (screen layout and composition) and style guide implementation.
  • Understanding of current web platform, interaction design, and usability principles.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate while being result-oriented: Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven entrepreneurial environment.
  • Hands-on and collaborative mentality, with ability to take on feedback positively.
  • Customer focus - Evaluate customer feedback and adapt visuals accordingly.
  • At least 1-2 years of digital design experience.
  • Proven track-record as digital designer with experience in an advertising agency / luxury retail environment preferred.
  • Formal training in graphic and digital design or related disciplines.
  • Degree in graphic design, interactive multi-digital media or web design is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in animation will be a strong plus.
  • Expert skills in design tools: Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, After Effects, Final Cut is a plus.
  • Skills in other tools - One Drive, Box, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin & Cantonese is a plus.
  • Creative, self-motivated, driven and takes pride in ownership.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
