Graduate Consultant - Marine - Entry Level
The Programme
Take a lead in sourcing and managing marine related Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects throughout Asia Pacific.
What You Will Do
- Oversee a wide range of projects in the marine environment ranging from baseline surveys to site selection, EIAs to EM&A programmes, and strategy studies to marine and biodiversity conservation programmes.
- Provide subject matter expertise to a wide range of projects as part of multidisciplinary teams and to manage and deliver projects that are primarily in the marine sector.
- Involve in developing ERM's business servicing our clients in the marine sector.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Degree in Environmental Science, Marine Science, Marine Ecology, Oceanography, Coastal Engineering or Environmental Engineering. PhD or MPhil is preferable.
- 1 year of experience in environmental consultancy or environment focused on non-governmental organizations is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge on marine and coastal ecosystems, their threats, coastal management issues, and strategies for their conservation is essential.
- Excellent report writing skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must. Chinese or other Asian language is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team is essential.
