Facility Management and Operations Intern

This role will be based in Singapore and will be reporting to the Facility Manager and/or Lead Operations Manager. 

What You Will Do

• Understand current warehouse processes and SOP with hands-on attachment to warehouses.
• Support daily warehouse operations and processes involving facility and assets, assist maintenance & upkeep of company’s facilities at all warehouses.
• Assist to update on the chiller/freezer asset list for warehouses.
• Conduct routine checks at the warehouse to ensure all facilities are in operational condition.
• Coordinate periodic maintenance of the facilities and escalate any malfunction to the Realty Facility Manager.
• Assist to conduct audits of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures to ensure compliance with regulations by performing periodic safety & health risk assessment.
• Source for contractors / quotations for necessary maintenance work and review the maintenance term contracts.
• Support warehouses for special projects, data analysis and compilation of daily/weekly reports.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Prior experience in facility management/warehouse operations preferred. 
• Strong initiative with an interest in Facilities Maintenance/Project Management.
• Self-motivated, paying attention to details and able to work independently.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics.
• Students/fresh grads specializing in facility management, project management, retail management, warehouse and logistic operations or entrepreneurship studies are welcome to apply.
