Internship Programme-Group Human Resources - May-Aug 2023-Business
The Programme
Keppel Corporation's Group Human Resources Team plays an important role in our employee’s lifecycle.
As an Intern, you will support across various HR functions such as talent management projects, recruitment, onboarding and off boarding as well as organizing engagement and well-being initiatives for employees.
What You Will Do
The intern will be responsible in the following:
- Support talent management projects and talent engagement initiatives.
- Support recruitment on-boarding and off-boarding process.
- Support HR Business Partners in the end-to-end processes of recruitment, including shortlisting candidates, coordinating with line managers and candidates on interview sessions, as well as ensuring that the necessary documentation is in place before the candidate commences work with the organization.
- Assist with new hires’ on-boarding process to ensure smooth transition into the organization.
- Provide inputs and assist with the review of new hires’ onboarding to enhance employee experience.
- Assist with off-boarding of leavers from the organization and provide inputs in the review of the off-boarding process.
- Support employee engagement and well-being.
- Support focus groups discussion on employee engagement.
- Conceptualize exciting and engaging activities for employees (e.g., CSR activities, events to celebrate festive occasions).
- Design publicity materials (e.g., EDMs, Yammer posts).
- Gather and review participants’ feedback to inform future initiatives.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Other ad-hoc duties and task assigned by team.

- Understanding the HR processes involved in the employee lifecycle.
- How HR plays a critical role in supporting growth of business.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Business or Human Resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools such as excel and powerpoint.
- Ability to craft effective employee communication materials.
- Project management and interpersonal skills through planning and implementing various initiatives.
- Ability to develop employee engagement and well-being initiatives that are aligned with the company’s goals and promote a healthy and productive workforce.
