We are a firm where employees are respected and where each individual's career progress and professional development is important. We have a team oriented, open door policy culture and encourage staff at all levels to work closely together and alongside our Senior Management Team.
We aim to attract people who highly value their own self development. We embrace the apprenticeship model. This means that we know you are still learning, and we intend to help you develop all the professional skills you need in order to be successful at Langham Hall. In return, we expect that you will make the most of all the learning opportunities that are available, and that you will be proactive about your own professional development, seeking help and support when you need it.
At Langham Hall we also have a policy of advancement from within. You will participate in our Personal Staff Development Programme which includes modules across 3 Stages covering Technical, Client and Team Management and Leadership. As part of this staff can benefit from:
- On the job training and specific time dedicated to all staff on a weekly basis focussed on technical skills
- External training (e.g. Microsoft Office training, time management training)
- Soft-skills training and coaching with specialist trainers, in our office or off-site
- Weekly sessions presented to colleagues to share skills and insights.
You will also be provided examination support (such as paid exam leave and practical experience mentoring) whilst embarking on your Company sponsored professional accountancy qualification.
