Title - Deploy in-house 3D printing for tool installation pre-facilitation.
Description - Tool installation is a series of complex activities from pre facilitation, tool move in, vendor installation, utilities turn on and tool/process qualifications. The duration from tool move-in to production release is a key component of asset utilization and needs to be as short as possible to maximize output.
By using the 3D printing in CVD tool installation, we will be enabling the equipment with faster installation works and to be more precise on the equipment point of connection construction
Scope - Perform 3D design and drawing of the point of connection point, printing out the material by using 3D printer. Collaborate with the process engineers /tool installation team to design and fabricate the 3D material, Student will be able to learn how to use CAD to design the industrial standards and improve the productivities for the tool installation of the semiconductor equipment.
Deliverable - Design and fabricate 3D template using CAD drawing and 3D printing. Deploy the 3D template and demonstrate that it can reduce the duration of Tool Installation.
