SG United Traineeship Program - Repair Lab Equipment Technician

 The Programme 

Fresh out from school and thinking about how you can gain valuable industry-relevant experience? With SGUnited Traineeships, new and recent graduates can join approved host companies to develop skills professionally and receive a training allowance. 
 
The SG United Programme aims to provide traineeship opportunities to 

• Singaporeans/ PR’s 
• Recently graduated or will soon be graduating 
• From the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnics, Universities and other private institutions in CY2019/2020
• Also includes those who graduated from the above institutions and recently completed National Service in CY2019/2020 

What you will do 

• Repair, maintenance and upgrade of  the system boards from production equipment 
• Assist Engineers in making quality and reliability improvements 
• Troubleshoot and analyze system boards failure mechanism or frequency 
• Minimize Repair Lab test equipment downtime through preventive maintenance / fixes
• Support new setup and upgrade of Repair Lab test equipment 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Controlled Documents Management 
• Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Lot Handling Procedure 
• Quality Mindset training 
• Quality Special Characteristics Awareness 
• Familiarity with Micron safety protocols and procedures 
• Knowledge of general equipment operations and basic toolset competency 
• Repair Lab System Board support Operation processes and procedure 
• Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance workflow and procedures 
• Quality and Reliability setting up of test equipment
