Job description

As our Management Trainee you provide support to the Hotel Development Team with research work and seeking out potential hotels in key destinations. The position is on part-time contract basis.

The main areas of activity are:

Research

  • Exploring destinations where potential hotels and their competitors are located
  • Destinations where existing member hotel and potential hotels are located
  • Potential hotels and their holding companies
  • New hotel developments in key destinations

Support

  • Research and generate contacts details of potential hotels / owners
  • Execute mailings to hotels with potential and as identified in potential regions
  • Continuous support for contract administration and appropriate filing

Competitors Update

  • Competitors watch report – thorough research on list of identified competitors on a monthly basis
  • Service Analysis report – update report on a monthly basis

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to hold a conversation with potential hotels on the phone

Interpersonal Skills / Collaboration

  • Open-minded, ability to communicate with internal and external clients verbally and in writing
