Personal Statement

Aspirational engineering undergraduate with a range of software competences and excellent interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic towards challenges, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving. Experience in Manufacturing Logistics, in Germany, where I demonstrated project management, CAD and language skills.\n\nPassionate about new technologies that address current international energy concerns, such as co-generation, or combined heat and power (CHP) which recovers heat from conventional energy generation methods. Keen to learn new methods to aid stall of global carbon emissions, such as carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). Indeed an avid follower of renewable energies, particularly large-scale wind, having just completed my individual project on wind turbine design.\n\nI'm interested to see fuel cell and electric vehicles (EV) developing and finding their place in the automotive market. I've followed the development of EV's since the Tesla Roadster and other developments like Ecotricity's Nemisis car and their Ion horse motorbike. Intrigued by the new supercars (McLaren P1, Porsche 918) that turn hybrid drive into an aggressively sporty technology. Currently seeking an engineering placement within the energy sector.\n\nI enjoy being active, including cycling and snowboarding. I love to read novels and factual books.\n\nSpecialities: CAD, Design, Communication
